SmartSync Pro is a universal full-featured tool to back up and synchronize your important data to the local drive, external Flash/USB/ZIP drive, CD/DVD, NAS and other storage devices, network volumes or even remote computer. If source data is destroyed or lost, it can be easily recovered. An intuitive wizard will help setting up what, where and when to copy. The program replicates only new and updated files which substantially reduces synchronization time. As a unique feature, SmartSync Pro allows synchronizing files and folders when computers cannot be connected over a local network (e.g. home/office PCs). A flexible filtering system lets keep synchronized only the files you need. The application has a set of built-in features such as task scheduler, data compression, activity logging, notifications and password protection. SmartSync Pro can be run as a service under NT/2000/XP/2003 to perform scheduled tasks even when nobody is logged in.

Strong Encryption

Open File Backup
SmartSync Pro provides backup of open/in-use and locked files via Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista using Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) technology.

Control Backup Speed
Now you can specify bandwidth throttling for each profile to prevent network overload and set the maximum number of concurrently running profiles to limit CPU usage.

Zip64 Format Support
The new compression engine supports the Zip64 zip file format allowing the creation of Zip files of practically unlimited size (no 4 GB limit). Zip files can contain any number of files (no 65535 file limit).

Enhanced Support for Removable Media
SmartSync Pro now detects removable disks insertion automatically starts the profile. Removable disks could be identified by drive letter, drive label or even disk serial number.

Enhanced Filtering Options
Added support for date filtering to process latest files only.
